Access to all adult learning is via scouts.org.uk. Log in and look for My Learning. 

All regular volunteers in Scouting must complete the Growing Roots learning:

• An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (renewable every 5 years)

• Safety e-learning (renewable every 3 years)

• Safeguarding e-learning (renewable every 3 years)

• Data Protection in Scouting e-learning

• Who we are and what we do e-learning

All child-facing volunteers must also complete:

• First Response (renewable every 3 years)

• Delivering a Great Programme e-learning

Trustees must also complete:

• Being a Trustee in Scouts e-learning

Once you've completed your Growing Roots learning, you can continue to develop further skills as part of the Branching Out learning. You can work towards your Wood Badge, the internationally recognised symbol of Scout Leader proficiency

From here you can do all of the following:

• Check and update your personal details

• Access your Learning and complete e-learning courses

• Submit Nights Away Notifications for approval

• Find resources for running your sections

• Find information about Adventurous Activity Permits

• Nominate adults for Good Service Awards

• Access the current version of Policy, Organisation and Rules (POR)
